Zoom Meeting For Branch 7 Was A First
Amongst all the craziness of the Colvid 19 pandemic, Branch 7 got together with the board and its members. Zoom meetings becoming the norm for branches all over the country. Our local decided to give it a try. While it could have been a bigger turnout. It was very informative and it was business as usual.
We had 18 members join in, counting board members. President Spathanas taking charge of the meeting and relaying news from his meetings with the Postmaster, along with announcing how nominations will go for the Board elections this year. That will take place at the November meeting. Also nominees for the 2021 State convention was brought to light and how the nominations would be handled. A vote was taken to take to 8 delegates to the convention.
All in all wasn’t a bad start to what will be the normal going forward. So in November from the comforts of your own living room watch what is happening in your Branch. If you have never been to a meeting, zoom with us and maybe just maybe you will like what you see and get more involved with the future of your jobs and the future of the union that represents you.
